Welding metal technicians join material parts using the technique of welding. This means that they strongly heat the seams of the parts and sometimes also feed additional material, which melts the parts together. There are different processes and techniques that you will learn in this apprenticeship. Metal parts such as sheets, pipes, shaped steels, machine and apparatus parts are welded. Welding metal technicians work with manual or automatic welding equipment.
