Daring first milling attempts, measuring the thickness of one's hair, finding the matching bolt for the right opening – and finally creating one's own measurement report: on the occasion of the „Turnauer Feriensommer“, we opened our doors for children and young people between the ages of six and 14 on two dates this year – with massive interest: almost 40 HELDECO enthusiasts accepted the invitation and immersed themselves in our world.

Our offering was not only well-received by the children, but also by the parents. Many of them took the opportunity to experience the station operations for themselves – whether it was measuring the surface roughness of components or ascending with the gantry milling machine FR 12000, which gave them an overview of the infrastructure.

„This meant that young people as well as parents were able to experience first-hand what our specialists master every day and which technical innovations are in use at HELDECO,“ said Managing Director Helmut Dettenweitz, expressing his delight at the great level of interest.
