The final touches are all that remain: only the flooring and tiling are still outstanding. Even the painting and interior fit-out work are complete. The £1.2 million expansion of HELDECO's social and office spaces is in its final stages. "Approximately 85 percent of the expansion is now complete. We are still fully on schedule and are confident that we can finish the remaining work on time," explains HELDECO's authorised signatory, Sabine Dettenweitz.
The furniture is due to be delivered in mid-October, and the entire 800 square metres should be ready for use by the workforce by the end of the month. "The anticipation for the bright and welcoming premises and the two roof terraces is already palpable," says Dettenweitz.
An internal opening ceremony is already being planned: "As the expansion will particularly benefit our employees, it is important to us to inaugurate the new premises together in a familiar atmosphere," explains the HELDECO representative.
