Taking the first milling attempts, measuring the thickness of their hair, finding the correct bolt for the right opening – and finally creating their own measurement protocol: On the occasion of the "Turnau Holiday Summer", we opened our doors on two dates this year for children and young people between the ages of six and 14 – with massive interest: Almost 40 HELDECO enthusiasts accepted the invitation and immersed themselves in our world.
Our offering was not only well-received by the children, but also by the parents. Many of them took the opportunity to experience the station operations for themselves – whether it was measuring the surface roughness of components or ascending with the gantry milling machine FR 12000, which gave them an overview of the infrastructure.
"This allowed young people and parents alike to experience firsthand what our skilled professionals master every day and which technical innovations are used at HELDECO," is pleased Managing Director Helmut Dettenweitz about the great interest.
