High-quality LED lamps will now illuminate HELDECO's production halls.
We have currently invested around 80,000 euros in modernising the lighting. The new light sources are intended not only to ensure a more pleasant working and indoor environment, but also to contribute to greater plant safety.
The investment also shines in a good light regarding power consumption: HELDECO has reduced its annual energy requirement for lighting at the site by 60 per cent. "As a regionally reliable employer, it is important for us to also live up to our responsibility in the area of sustainability. By switching to more environmentally friendly LED lighting, we are able to take an important step here," emphasises HELDECO CEO Helmut Dettenwetiz.
Remarkable: according to the company's projections, the conversion of the lighting is set to pay for itself in just four years. The maintenance of the LED lighting, which we hope will be less complex, has not yet been factored into this forecast.
