Larger components, more production space: We have recently expanded the production facilities at our Turnau/Aflenz site by a further 600 square metres. Specifically, we have extended our Hall V for this purpose. The total production area now amounts to 5,100 square metres.
The expansion of the bright infrastructure has created space primarily for the machining of particularly large and heavy components: a Gurutzpe GLX 20, which will arrive in the coming weeks, will be able to machine components with a turning length of up to 7 metres and a diameter of 2 metres. Also a WFL M150 (more on this here) finds space in the enlarged hall V.
During the expansion, we focused on local value creation: around 100 percent of all suppliers come from Styria.
