Maximum transparency through intelligently regulated communication flows: for two years now, our production processes have been based on a digital data hub. This means that work schedules, CNC programmes, manufacturing documents, pending tasks, current order planning and machine allocation are available in real time to authorised employees. Now we have also been able to integrate the tool magazine into our digital production processes based on our lean production management.
This creates new possibilities in planning: "We can use it to prioritise the tools we use even more specifically on the basis of our project planning. This further increases the already high effectiveness in implementation," explains Managing Director Helmut Dettenweitz.
As a rough guide only: in individual orders, up to 150 tools and more are sometimes in use. These are now prioritised digitally – among the multitude of projects – and bottlenecks are avoided.
