At HELDECO, everything works together hand-in-hand – at least when it comes to the production of components and innovative system solutions. Within the context of our new employee benefits programme, it’s deliberately different: around 14 modern bicycles have been purchased to date to make them available to our HELDECO specialists at a low cost. Corresponding parking spaces and a power connection for e-bikes on the company premises are already being planned.
The purchase of the bikes is made possible by a collaboration with Firmenradl.at. The concept: We acquire our employees' desired bikes, for which they pay a monthly fee. After a maximum of four years, the bike is sold to our employees for a low residual value. Crucially: In summation Our HELDECO specialists save up to 30 percent of the normal list price when buying a bicycle.
The basis for this approach is, incidentally, the tax reform passed in 2019: This provides for a deductible input tax of 20 percent for e-bikes used for business purposes. Employees do not incur any fringe benefit expenses; they are merely obliged to use the bicycle for commuting to work and for business journeys where possible.
