It's an award that comes from the very top: Diocesan Bishop Wilhelm Krautwaschl has awarded HELDECO the "Award of Merit for Exemplary Management" from the Catholic Church of Styria.
This economy award is presented to Styrian companies whose Christian-social commitment in areas such as sustainability and employee orientation shines beyond regional borders. In the ceremonial setting of Schloss Seggau, the HELDECO management, led by Helmut Dettenweitz and authorised signatory Sabine Dettenweitz, was presented with the award.
"In a time when social responsibility and ethical conduct are becoming ever more important – and sadly, also rarer – this award strengthens us in our endeavour to continue to trust our HELDECO DNA. In the future, we will continue to act on an equal footing, collaboratively and in a family-like manner in our dealings with our partners and, above all, our employees. We thank the jury and everyone involved who nominated and selected us for the award," explain Helmut Dettenweitz and Sabine Dettenweitz in unison.
HELDECO stood out from a list of over 75 nominated companies in the jury vote. A total of eight companies across Styria were honoured for their work practices that are fair to people, the environment, and the economy.
