HELDECO sharpens its positioning – and commits itself even more strongly to what has distinguished the company since 1991: heavy components. In a double sense.
With the new brand identity under the motto „When it gets heavy,“ HELDECO focuses on its core competence: the precise machining of components that are heavy – both literally and figuratively. This refers to components with lengths of up to 20 metres and individual weights of up to 30 tonnes, as well as tasks that are technically complex, demanding, and critical. Often both at the same time.
„At HELDECO, “Heavy" therefore signifies two dimensions: non-standard weight and size – and responsibility. Because where rolling mill components, hydropower applications, nuclear technology precision parts, or aviation components are manufactured according to EN 9100, there is no Plan B. This is precisely where the owner-managed family business from Upper Styria sees its home.

Clear message, growing strength
„We’ve completed over 16,000 projects in the last 35 years. Where standard manufacturers faltered, we were able to demonstrate our expertise,“ says CEO Helmut Dettenweitz. For him and authorised signatory Sabine Dettenweitz, it's clear: „The new image distils what we stand for: when things get difficult, in a double sense, we are the right partner. This isn't a new promise, but the most honest description of what our team achieves every day.“
The company also sees the repositioning as a consistent step from an economic perspective. The leadership duo emphasises: „Clear positioning builds trust – with customers, partners and employees“. Therefore, the consensus is: „We are strategically investing in the niche of heavy, complex components because we can fully leverage our strengths there. The new branding makes visible what sets us apart from the broader market.“
From concept to go-live
The next generation at the company, along with Kristina Dettenweitz, has taken the lead in the strategic conception of the new website: She has accompanied the project from its strategic direction to its implementation.
The new look can now be experienced at heldeco.at – including the Component Visualizer, Live Component Feed, and a direct component check for non-standard enquiries.
